Kenmore. (6 miles) Super well groomed 9 hole course.
Pitlochry, (15 miles) Championship 18 hole course
Grandtully (5 miles) 9 holes. Hilly but not to be underestimated!
Killin. (23 miles) 9 holes.
Blair Atholl (20 miles) 9 holes.
Dunkeld (17 miles) 9 holes,
The famous courses at Rosemount (Blairgowrie), Gleneagles, and St. Andrews are all within easy reach.

Fishing
Angling In Tayside
Opportunities for both Trout and Salmon fishing are abundant.

Boating and Bathing
Boats can be hired at Loch Tay, Kenmore (6 miles). There is also a sandy beach with shallow water providing safe bathing for children.

Hill Walking & Climbing
There are around 20 to 30 Munros within easy driving distance of our holiday cottages.
The start points for the Munros in Drumochter, Rannoch & Ossian, Glenlyon, & Killin areas are all well within an hours drive.

Walking
Perthshire is a vast area of open country, with the opportunity for walks to cater for everyone's abilities. There are many walks from all of the cottages as well as access to the Core Path network.

Skiing
All the Scottish ski centres are easily accessible from Castle Menzies;-
We are nearly equidistant, and just over an hour from three, and a little further from the other two.
There is an advantage in staying at Castle Menzies. We attempt to beat the vagaries of the Scottish weather by awaiting the forecaste each morning to predict which centre will afford the best weather and snow conditions!

Curling
